The University has a Directorate of Research for conducting research, both applied and fundamental, all the facilities, Director of research coordinate all the research activities (on campus and off campus) and keep proper records of the projects and review report of the progress of research for publication.

To develop technically feasible and economically viable agricultural production technology, research work is carried out on various crops at different research stations.
